The GT 2160 provides moderate support, a lightweight and responsive feel as well as high-end cushioning. These shoes are intended for a mild to moderate overpronator who wants the best from ASICS running shoes. The new GT 2160 has a very similar fit and feel to its predecessor the GT 2150, and I found that it felt great right out of the box. ASICS added additional memory foam in the heel collar, which did snug up the heel just a bit, which I really liked.
